Labrador retrievers have been the number one dog in America for 12 years.
Labs are so popular that there are 3 times as many of them as golden retrievers, the number 2 dog on the AKC's list of registered breeds
Before Labs reached the top, cocker spaniels were number 1 for 8 years, and before that poodles were the most popular dog in America for 25 years.

Lab's are great dogs, but I personally love Great Danes! They are wonderful and protect you from any danger you might be in.
I have a yellow lab myself,she's so wonderful. She even protected my family andI from an earthquake one time!Even though she's the baby of the family ,she acts like the mother.
I Have 2 Labradors. Their Names are Leo And Linda.Even though they are really hyper,they control themselves when other dogs,or people are around.Labs Rule!!!!!!!!!!!
